In January we welcomed over 600 alternative investment professionals to the Pension Bridge Alternatives conference. Taking place for the first time virtually, over the course of 3 half-days, we heard from more than 60 investment experts across our 15 panel discussions.
Jonathan Grabel set the tone of the event in his keynote address “Our Path”, where he shared his insights into the challenges faced by Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association when constructing, managing, and optimizing their alternative portfolios.
With dedicated sessions on the each of the core alternative asset classes; Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Assets, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Energy, we also introduced new panels to tackle some of the most pressing investment issues, such as responsible investing, the outlook for 2021 and how the alternatives industry can effectively combat the economic damage inflicted by COVID-19.
Successfully adapted to a virtual environment
Over the past 12 months we have expertly adapted our conferences to a virtual environment, not only being able to deliver the highest level of content from a top speaker faculty, but also in managing to successfully replicate the networking opportunities that are an important aspect of attending our in-person events.
At this year’s conference through our new Investor-Manager Concierge Service, led by a team of investor relations managers, we were able to successfully facilitate 600 introductory meetings between investors and managers.
