In August we bought together over 460 leading investors, asset managers and investment consultants, from the APAC region, for exclusive learning and networking
The 6th edition of the Pension Bridge Altinvestor APAC conference, took place virtually, for the second consecutive year, over the course of 4 half days in August 2021.
Building on the success of 2020, the Pension Bridge Altinvestor APAC 2021 virtual forum brought together nearly 300 asset owners; including representatives from Sovereign Wealth Funds, Public and Corporate Pension Funds, Insurers, Foundations and Endowments, Family Offices, and Investment Consultants, from the APAC region to connect, learn, share and discuss their perspectives on alternative investments, at a time when it is more important than ever to collaborate and network with peers.
Harnessing our unparalleled in-house research capabilities, through our data products, Eurekahedge, HFM, Private Credit Fund Intelligence, Real Estate Fund Intelligence, and FundMap, the forum featured a curated list of best-in-class investment managers who shared key opportunities and challenges across a broad array of alternative investments.
With dedicated sessions on the each of the core alternative asset classes; Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Private Credit, Structured Credit, Real Estate and Infrastructure, this year we also introduced new panel discussions which tackled some of the most pressing investment issues of the moment, such as ESG, Climate Change, ILS, asset allocation outlook for 2021 and how the alternatives industry can effectively combat the economic consequences from COVID-19 through a series of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) panel discussions.
Successfully adapted to a virtual environment
Over the past 12 months we have expertly adapted our conferences to a virtual environment, not only being able to deliver the highest level of content from APAC’s largest asset owners, but also in managing to successfully replicate the networking opportunities that are an important aspect of attending our in-person events.
Based on overlapping investors’ investment interests and each featured managers’ unique alternative investment expertise, our Concierge Service, led by the Pension Bridge Investor Relations team were able to successfully facilitate 8-12 investor-led pre-scheduled 1-to-1 meetings per featured manager during the 4-day event.
